Long before I became a travel advisor, I spent my career helping people navigate life's most important moments. Today, I bring that same care, attention, and dedication to creating travel experiences that are thoughtful, personal, and unforgettable.
I was blessed to have a father with a deep sense of wanderlust. Growing up in the Midwest, every summer meant piling into the car and exploring another corner of the United States. Those family road trips sparked a lifelong curiosity about the world and a desire to experience places, cultures, and people beyond my own backyard.
As an adult, I moved to Northern California and built a career in nursing. At the same time, I continued exploring whenever I could. As a single woman with a passion for travel, I spent weeks at a time wandering through Europe, often on a tight budget. Those experiences led to some of my favorite memories: sharing meals with new friends, discovering hidden corners of cities, and immersing myself in local cultures.
I now have an amazing 20 -year-old daughter who started her travel “career” at six months old going to Paris and the countryside of France. We have had many many Amazing Adventures together...you will see her woven throughout the site. Travel has given us some of our most treasured memories, and you'll find pieces of those experiences woven throughout this website.
As I began preparing for retirement from nursing, I found myself asking what came next. The answer was surprisingly clear.
The only career I could imagine loving as much as nursing was one built around travel. Being a natural caregiver and spending a lifetime helping others made the decision feel obvious. Amazing Adventure Travel Design was born from the belief that travel should be personal, meaningful, and thoughtfully designed around each individual traveler.
No two people are alike, and no two trips should be either.
Planning a truly memorable vacation involves more than choosing a destination—it requires thoughtful planning, trusted expertise, and attention to every detail.
Because at the end of the day, this isn't just about hotels, flights, or itineraries. It's about creating experiences you'll talk about for years to come.
